Utilized React & Redux to design and develop a medical procedure scheduling system using the Flux architecture pattern. The system is comprised of several parts and conforms to the Google Progressive Web App specification. HTML5 local storage is also used alongside the PWA cache system to provide offline data to individuals who need to schedule animals, but are outside of the existing data coveragearea.

Worked together with a complete software team and separate hardware team to design and build the next generation of pulsed xenon ultraviolet medical disinfection robots. I was part of two tightly coupled projects. The primary focused on the development if a Xamarin MVVM based Android application to be used on the actual robots for the user interface. The second project involved the redesign and initial implementation of a micro services based web portal that allows the robots a method of communication and interaction with the organizations that employ them.

Lead software engineer 2001 - 2007Designed and implemented software for reading and decoding of the magnetic track and 2D barcode on drivers' licenses. This software is capable of reading not only US driver licenses, but Canadian ID cards, and CAC v1 military / government cards. Implemented using C#, and completely object oriented using .NET assemblies.Implemented MS SharePoint 3.0 services with MS Project 2007.Implemented custom reporting using C#Integrated SharePoint website into company website using C#Designed tools for use with Project 2007 on the Windows Mobile 6 platform using again, C#. These concepts are currently being patented.Designed and implemented web based email client using ASP and C#Designed online customer reward system complete with online coupon printing, and statistical customer tracking. This system also utilized C#, and XML in the form of persistent data files.; Designed and developed Photo ID software using VB6, then converted to C# in mid 2003. Software is sold today as a competitive solution in its marketplace, and offers graphic processes just now appearing in COTS solutions. Uses MS SQL 2000 as a backend for layout, and data storage. This project was my largest with Benetech.Developed large scale video switching hardware / software solution for mission control systems, and the casino market, using Java, C#, and C++. These systems were developed for another entity, and the details are a trade secret.Design & develop new ID system for the Regional Transit Authority, using C++, and VB6. Included development of a WIN32 low level driver for the hardware. Used "GenFare" system backend.Developed "Proof of concept" applications for emerging market testing. All using C# , and some using ASP pages.Designed, and implemented metal tag embosser system for the Navy (at Avondale) using C#. Software reads from a database that holds millions of wiring records, and embosses circuit numbers on metal tags.

Developed a fully integrated medical drug shipping assembly line for VitaRX that included interfacing UNIX systems with Microsoft Windows based client machines, and a distributed hardware / software application using SOAP (pre "web service"), and my extensive electronics knowledge. Core application uses C++ on both platforms.Developed an on-line rental system for Spacewalk inflatable's utilizing VB6, C++ MFC, ActiveX and ASP pages.Dozens of small applications for formatting commercial data. Most of these used VB6, prior to the dawn of the .NET age.
