I am a Registered Nurse with a diverse field of experience in the acute hospital setting. My clinical experience primarily includes intensive care, emergency, medical-surgical, and psychiatric departments, but I have also been trained in PACU, short-stay, and endoscopy units. This unique and varied experience has allowed me to be flexible and adaptable to ever-changing situations in the acute care setting. Developing mindfulness skills in the workplace has taught me how to remain calm in stressful and often tumultuous environments. This ability to remain mindful and even-keeled during crisis situations increases the trust others have in me as a natural leader and personal confidence in myself. I have learned the value of deep-breathing exercises and positive self-talk mantras that help me maintain focus and give attention to what is most important.I have developed a strong professional presence that includes, not just appearance, but how I carry myself and how I have learned to communicate and truly listen to those around me. Empathetic listening is a priority as I care for patients and my non-verbal communication displays keen attention to the needs of patients and family members.
Listed skills include Registered Nurses, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support For Healthcare Providers, and 17 others.
