I am an independent director to the Funds which invest in the energy sector and are regulated by the Irish Central Bank.

I provided consultancy to the international energy sector in business strategy, project delivery and capacity building. Projects I have delivered on include: • Defining with the Ugandan Government and Partners the national content and contribution of a major new oil development. • Design and implementation of a management system for a major African oil company. • Partner alignment on technical and financial aspects of a mega (approx. $50 billion) project Kazakhstan • Contract strategy for a coal stream project in Australia. • Project manager for the design and roll out of SAP in Irish Shell’s downstream business.

I worked in an internal management consultancy. Projects I have delivered on include: o Developing energy master plans in Oman and Kuwait. o Defining the venture set up requirements for a combined Shell and Iraqi Partnership. o Supporting the development of an indigenous oil company in Nigeriao Representing the Shell Foundation in a range of projects from a diamond project with De Beers in Tanzania, the Rockefeller Foundation on climate resilience and the Hewlett Foundation and African Union on development corridors. o Representing Shell International in a UN Global Compact water initiative in Ethiopia. o Facilitating sessions with Government agencies on capacity building, research and training.
