Keara is a bilingual (Spanish-English) human-centered design researcher who helps NGOs, government agencies and care-centered businesses improve product and service design through qualitative and participatory research. She currently collaborates with NGOs and government agencies to research and amplify the experiences of Spanish-speaking participants with benefit programs and broader social themes. She brings 10 years of teaching and community engagement to her work to strategically build community partnerships, authentically center the inclusion of diverse experiences, and approach work with transparency. She has a special interest in projects in Latin America and has supported the design, creation, and evaluation of initiatives in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. She’s currently in Colombia and is excited to connect with the social impact ecosystem there.
