Mike Keating is a trial lawyer and founder of Keating Law Offices. For over two decades he has only represented injured people or the families of people who were injured or killed by the negligence of others and fought to hold them accountable. Mike founded Keating Law Offices in 2008 with the mission of fighting for justice and that mission continues to this day. Through this work, Mike has represented thousands of clients in personal injury and wrongful death litigation in state and federal courts. He is considered a national authority on Transportation Negligence and his practice also focuses on Complex Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Products Liability, and Nursing Home Negligence and Abuse.Mike has also repeatedly been named a "Leading Lawyer" and a "SuperLawyer" in the annual editions of Illinois SuperLawyers Magazine and Chicago Magazine. He has also been named to the "Top 100"​ list and the “40 Under 40″ list in Illinois by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Mike is involved in several legal and civic organizations. He is on the Board of Managers for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) and is also a Committee Chair for ITLA's Transportation Committee. Mike is also a litigation group chair for the American Association for Justice. In addition, he is a member of the Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations and the National Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice before the Illinois Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois where he is a member of the Federal Trial Bar, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.Mike is a lifelong Illinois resident and graduated from Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn. In 1997 he received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Marquette University. Thereafter, he received his law degree from the DePaul University College of Law where he was a member of the Dean's List. Mike lives in the Chicago area with his wife and three children.
