The Business Solutions Team is a group of Red River College students whose goal is to provide real clients with a variety of business solutions. Some of my responsibilities and contributions included:• Founding member of the Business Solutions Team.• Worked with a local law firm to create a new online business venture. Assisted in the development of the business model, marketing strategy, revenue model and strategic growth model.• Worked with the Red River Collect ACE Project Space students to develop the website. • Managed a booth at the Red River College applied research and innovation day. • Participated in recruitment events for the Business Solutions Team.

I became interested in Entrepreneurship at a young age and decided to start my own company. Some of my achievements and responsibilities included: • Founded a corporate company at a young age.• Worked closely with partners in the United States and China to import the world’s first electric lighter. • Developed and managed an e-commerce website to use as a B2C sales tool.• Sold the lighters to local shops around Winnipeg.• Developed integrated marketing communication strategies to increase brand awareness and generate sales.• Utilized social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram); primarily used for customer service, marketing communications, running contests, promotional efforts - both paid and natural, brand growth and sales generation.
