Instagram NLP - I used Natural Language Processing techniques and Machine Learning algorithms to predict which Instagram post will resonate most by analyzing caption text. The results of this project can lead to better marketing insights for businesses who mainly advertise with text on social media platforms.Analysis of Football and Weather - This project is aimed at determining if a win can be predicted based upon the weather at the game. We will also consider the average score depending on the weather.

Planned lessons with clear objectives related to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards, incorporated AVID, SEL, and restorative practice skills as well as the use of various technology in classroom assignments and materials. Designed assessments that allowed students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in multiple representations. Evaluate student performance by maintaining records and documenting student progress. Responsible for communicating with parents regularly about student progress in regards to attendance, grades, and behavior. Consulted with parents, school staff, and other care providers to identify and address social or developmental needs. Attended professional development to learn and improve as a teacher and leader, also led professional development at my campus and within the district to share my experience and classroom strategies. My accomplishments include: increasing Algebra EOC scores from 54% pass rate in Spring 2016 to over 90% in Spring 2019, earning Teacher of the Year at LBJ ECHS for the 2017-2018 school year, presenting at the AISD Science and Mathematics Conference in Summer 2018, presenting at the BLENDed Learning Summit in May 2017, and being appointed as Math Department chair during my 2nd year of teaching at LBJ ECHS.

During high volume times in the school year I was required to work in the lobby and on the phone lines assisting families and students with financial aid questions.
