Responsible for the construction and maintenance of the City's civil infrastructure managing 35 full-time employees across the City's maintenance and construction teams. Develop and implement works schedules, control budgets, and overall responsibility for all aspects of project delivery for civil infrastructure assets including roads, bridges, stormwater drainage, pathways and carparks. Also tasked with coastal erosion protection works, emergency preparedness and emergency response to mitigate damage due to storms, fire and floods. Deliver upwards of $25M capital construction and operational maintenance works annually utilizing a combination of internal works crews, contractors and consultants. Manage major contracted scopes of work including procurement, contract administration and construction management while overseeing and coordinating consultants and contractors.

Project Manager and Owner’s Representative for BluEarth Renewables on the Narrows Inlet Hydro Project. Kevin managed project construction including budget, schedule, contract administration and field logistics for all scopes of work including tunnelling, civil construction, and electrical balance of plant. As site manager he was responsible field logistics including helicopter operations and overall consultant/contractor coordination. He provided technical oversight for the owner to ensure design compliance and prepared detailed progress reports for stakeholder communications. Kevin led the plant commissioning process obtaining permits and engineering approvals to ensure a smooth handover to Operations.

Construction Manager and Owner's Representative for Bluearth Renewables on the Narrows Inlet Hydro Project. Responsibilities included the oversight and management of civil works, transmission line construction, turbine and generator supply and install, tunneling, and electrical balance of plant.Responsible for managing overall project construction budget, project cost control including change management, progress reporting, and stakeholder communications.

Progressed from project coordination to project management. Responsible for project tendering, subcontract execution, change management, progress draws, project scheduling, budget management and progress reporting for commercial and institutional construction contracts up to $40M.

Contributed to design, contract administration and construction inspection on multiple projects ranging from land development and municipal works to water distribution and treatment. Scope of works included design and construction services for stormwater, water distribution and sanitary sewer infrastructure, wastewater treatment facilities, roadways, and public parks.
