I created the concept for The Starving Groupie blog from two things that fuel life for many of us: food and live music. Partnering with a photographer/creative cook, we bring to life the stories of fans obsessed with bands or musicians and share some tasty rock-star recipes along the way.

Lead social media, public relations, marketing planning, creative asset production and sponsorship activities for the Sheboygan County affiliate of the national Rebuilding Together nonprofit organization. It's mission is to rehabilitate communities by offering free home repair for residents in need.

- Launched a global intranet by representing communications on a cross-functional team and leading content strategy, developing governance plan and executing its introduction to all employees. *More than 18,000 employees visit the intranet weekly.- Worked on a communications/human resources team to research and develop an employment brand that authentically reveals the Kohler experience to recruits. - Developed news desk-style system for the collection, creation and publishing of daily global stories.- Attained Global Reporting Initiative certification to guide publication of first sustainability report and to support company’s environmental strategy as part of the sustainability core team.

Lead a nonprofit young professionals network aimed at establishing a valuable network of these up-and-comers and helping them create a community in Sheboygan County.

Researched, crafted and executed a county-wide survey of soon-to-be retiring Baby Boomers and employers to discover how businesses are preparing for the mass exodus of this generation from the workforce.
