CurrentFollowing roles and responsibilities are in addition to those already mentioned below under the scope of Portfolio manager - Energy, Environment and Digital TransitionEnergy sector: Innovative measures addressing current pressing challenges of Indian electricity sector- FDRE & 24*7 RTC RE supply: • Carrying out techno-economic viability assessment of innovative projects i) Solar + storage projects ii) Agrivoltaics Solar PV projects iii) Solar + Wind hybrid project and iv) Floating Solar PV projects• Overview of Indian regulatory & policy framework in India and acknowledging global best practices• Analysis of various financial mechanisms and interaction with the experts & officials of the Indian central & state govt. PSUs, DFIs & French ecosystem etc. in order to explore opportunities of providing TA and concessional financing • Evolution of RE integration landscape due to cost reduction in storage techClimate Adaptation: • Mapping of relevant public institutions & private players, DFIs and think tanks; apprising of their work, strategies and contribution in National Goal on Adaptation• Understanding of principles for Climate Change Adaptation Finance defined by IDFC for DFIs and contemplating mobilization of concessional LoC to public bank in India• Providing support for articulating a tailor made TA for public banks to map their risk profile & to develop bankable climate adaptation projects (including climate resilient power infrastructure, NbS)Water projects: 1. Chandigarh 24*7 water supply and 2. Himachal Pradesh water & sanitation project (links are attached below)• Revision of tender documents in the light of AFD's standard procurement guidelines with the help of TTL based out of AFD HQ-Paris• Monitoring of implementation of project activities on ground• Analysis of E&S reporting and gender action plan with TTL & AFD HQ EHS division• Examining claim documents, financial statements and assisting AFD local office & HQ in performing disbursements
