Costen is an experienced team leader with a demonstrated history of facilitation in community oriented environments. His skill sets shine when engaging in the SpiralMethod, Group and Relationship Dynamics, Corporate and Nonprofit Organizations, Mindfulness, and Sustainability.Costen’s career has spanned many iterations, form solo entrepreneur to leadership roles in academia, government agencies and the private sector. What inspires him the most is creating positive change through group wisdom in action.Leadership highlights include: Launched a successful Landscape Design / Build company specializing water conservation during the drought years of 2001-2002 in Colorado.Designed and managed the installation of a 1 acre low-flow irrigation system for Boulder County Jail food gardens, saving thousands of gallons of water per year while improving crop yield and health. Established a Climate Action Plan for Naropa University while serving as Co-Chair of the Staff Executive Council.Served on the Elders Council advising for three different Naropa University Presidents.Co-created and managed a community in Boulder of over 300 people devoted to improving masculine/ feminine relationship dynamics.Costen currently lives in Longmont, CO and thrives in partnership and parenting embracing his role as step-dad to 3 high energy teens.
