Kee is a Principal Associate in the Real Estate Group. She specializes in a broad range of planning and environmental law. As part of the planning, infrastructure and consenting team, Kee has considerable experience in acting for both public and private sector clients including a number of major housebuilders, utilities, banks and blue chip companies. She advises on all aspects of planning, highways, compulsory purchase and environmental law.Kee has particular expertise in the transport and renewable energy sectors advising on the challenges faced when projects are seeking planning consent, environmental impact assessment and judicial review. Kee has managed numerous planning appeals throughout the UK. Kee has prepared and acted upon legal challenges and negotiated consent orders, settled large long-running compensation claims and completed a successful Village Green Inquiry. She has drafted and negotiated a number of complex s106 Agreements and a wide variety of infrastructure and other planning agreements. Kee also advises on all aspects of contaminated land, environmental liability and remediation. Her experience includes assisting with the disposal of sites by an international chemical company; advising on European environmental legislation and providing the legal support to resolve a wide variety of environmental and planning issues on a number of land disposals for public and private sector clients. Kee is a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association, part of the Eversheds Clean Energy and Sustainability Group and an active member of Renewable UK Cymru sitting on the planning strategy group and she is listed as a star associate in Chambers UK.
