I'm a computational linguistics professional with specialties in NLP, TTS/STT, Computer Vision, ML, and AI, as well as some experience and interest in writing and linguistic research.My application of computer vision and NLP are often in either data collection and correction or multiclass classification of texts (including author identification, genre classification, and sentiment analysis) with subsequent error analysis. For these tasks, I often utilized the scikitlearn frameworks and pandas.I also have experience in both Pytorch and Tensorflow, and with building NN's with linear, bidirectional RNN, and CNN layers.In the area of TTS/STT I trained a speech recognition model for Finnish, also using the above-mentioned frameworks. Since I omitted a language model, it functioned as a purely acoustic model.A paper for determining a metric for the external classification of language-phylogenies is under revision, which involves the use of the Monte Carlo permutation test along with statistical error analysis.
