After 8 years pursuing simultaneous careers in finance and theatre, I decided it was time to combine my storytelling and analytical skillsets and enrolled in CodeClan's immersive 14-week Data Analysis course. I have gained a solid foundation of skills required for data analysis including coding in R and Python, R Shiny, SQL, and data governance and management. As part of the course, I have completed 3 major individual projects and one group project.

After working as a Voice Services Colleague for six months, during which time I provided telephony clarification, guidance, and processing for life insurance policies, I was selected to join the complaints team. As a Complaints Handler, my primary role was to investigate complaints and liaise with different departments to determine appropriate complaint resolutions, and deliver resolutions and explanations to customers. I also provided on-demand guidance for colleagues receiving complaints.

Within this position I oversaw all borrower contact and documentation from application to Underwriting submission, maintaining clean approvals through careful study of regulations. This role adjusted over the next five years, allowing me to gain experience in mortgage sales support, quality control, and customer support.
