I am a communication studies and sports management student at Otterbein University. I work for Grove City’s Parks and Recreation Department. I also coach basketball at Bishop Ready High School along with individual/small group workouts and camps.As a communication specialist, I am proficient with written, interpersonal, and public communication. I have a passion for writing and telling stories. I am also very passionate and interested in meeting people from different places. Whether someone lives 5 miles or 5,000 miles from me, they have had a lifetime of unique experiences. I enjoy learning about other cultures as well as talking to and getting to know people from cultures that are different than mine. I utilize my creativity in situations that involve promotion, marketing, or planning. I am very comfortable with public speaking and speech writing.As a coach, I enjoy coaching team basketball as well as skill work for individuals or small groups. I have played basketball all my life. I was the team captain for 2 years on my high school team. After high school, I went on to play college basketball at a few different schools. Throughout my playing career, I coached several youth and high level basketball camps. After my playing career, I took up coaching as a high school program assistant and 7th grade head coach at West Jefferson High School. I am now the Freshman head coach and a program assistant at Bishop Ready High School.Whatever I do, I will always be hard working, creative, team oriented, passionate, and optimistic. My communication, critical thinking, and management skills make me a potential asset for whatever team I am a part of.
