I started my working life in various labor jobs: breaking up old pipelines in the oilfield; mixing mud and carrying bricks for a masonry company; and general construction / framing a home. Then, after getting my Chemical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, I worked in six operations and management roles at ExxonMobil Chemical's headquarters and manufacturing facilities. Later, while getting my MBA at Emory's Goizueta Business School, I raised a fund with an incredible group of investors and mentors to buy a private company. Now I'm running Driverse, an automotive shop management software company serving thousands of customers across (mostly) North America. How can I easily describe myself? On one hand I'm extremely outgoing person who loves sports, outdoors, and competitive action. Yet I also have an engineering side of me which loves spreadsheets, nerdy board games, and sci-fi books. I get enjoyment from being around people, and it's all of the varied individuals and personalities that I get to interact with that makes the business world so much fun.
