Global Project Management and Accomplishments:o Worked with China team to provide oversight of a 20,000-unit Storm generator build valued at $4M in advance of ERP upgrade. This advance build avoided 1 month of production stoppage or delays. Provided necessary generators to our distributors in preparation for storm season.o Oversaw a global team to successfully implement a CO module innovation ahead of US safety requirements through a 10,000 initial generator build. Root cause analysis was performed, a corrective action plan was initiated, and millions of dollars in rework costs due to faulty CO modules was avoided. o Managed a global supply chain initiative requiring our suppliers to adhere to company shipping instructions. Aspects of the project included budgeting and financials, warehouse training, IT implementation and global support, in partnership with our China team, to get suppliers fully compliant. Other responsibilities include: • Monitors inventory control, scheduling, forecast accuracy, buying, sourcing, planning and Distribution Center support• Performs liaison activities between areas of manufacturing, production and distribution• Oversees data management of requested material and maintains inventory levels to satisfy customer demand, avoids back orders and maintains fill rate objectives• Ensures the on-time delivery of shipments to meet the production and customer demand• Works cross-functionally with Service, Quality, Logistics and Production Planning on a daily basis• Manages effective dates of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to ensure that all inventories are used prior to converting Bill of Materials (BOMs)• Assists in monitoring and tracking vendor performance through periodic financial reviews, product performance, customer satisfaction surveys, and customer feedback2+ years of experience with R&D, electrification, Contract Manufacturing and New Product Development (NPD) projects.
