My career path has been one out of the ordinary, but I wouldn't have done it any differently. For 10+ years I taught marketing to high school students. I then realized that I had a strong desire to actually apply some of the concepts I was teaching to my students to a real business. I made the move to marketing in the private sector and have been doing marketing and sales in some capacity in the technology consulting field for over 9 years now.Beacon is my home and we offer business and technology staffing and consulting of the highest caliber. We achieve these high standards by bringing intelligent, experienced people to the table to solve business problems, and by applying proven methodologies that yield tangible results. I'm tasked with strengthening the Beacon brand and developing marketing campaigns to support sales and recruiting. I wear many hats at the organization and it isn't uncommon to see me working with all areas of the company in some form. Recently, my role has shifted more heavily to the responsibility of recruiter for Beacon. I am always looking to connect with individuals that may be able to provide our clients with the talent they desire on their teams. I am fortunate to still have a connection to high school students through volunteer efforts and leadership roles with Wisconsin DECA and National DECA. DECA is a high school organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. DECA is one organization that has made the greatest impact on me in my life and I am so grateful for the lessons I learned as a member in high school and college and as an advisor at the high school level.I love networking and meeting new people. I especially enjoy meeting young professionals that have a desire to give back to their communities and that want to make a difference in their own way. Feel free to reach out to connect with me.
