About Keegan Warren, J.D., Ll.M.

I am passionate about transforming the delivery of healthcare in a way that emphasizes wellness over sickness, and I believe that means we must focus on metrics and evaluation of and within society writ large. To do so, we must make structural expertise-- not mere competency-- the norm in healthcare, starting integrating attorneys who are specialists in patient-facing health and healthcare. Moreover, we cannot achieve equitable health outcomes without expertise in equity. Referral networks to underresourced CBOs may be critical to meeting an acute individual need, but they are not address of structural determinants of health. That means we must restructure healthcare financing, and we must do so with equity best practices informing every aspect, not just the obvious ones.
