Keela is a trained scientist and engineer holding 2 Master's degrees in Biology + Chemistry and Engineering Management and a Bachelor's in Engineering Physics. Early in her career, Keela partnered with Missouri State University and Mercy Health to form Mercy R&D. Under her leadership, the team created 35 products and formed numerous companies commercializing the products. As the need for medical testing of the products increased, Keela architected the merger of all clinical trials throughout Mercy under one unified umbrella, Mercy Research, enabling more care options for patients and improving the research business model. She also supported the newly formed Mercy Virtual in orchestrating clinicians, nurses, IT specialists, and app developers to design a comprehensive platform for delivering virtual medicine. Keela was recognized by the local business community as a "Game Changer", her alma mater as "Outstanding Young Alumni of the Year", and by the Governor of Missouri with a personal invitation to join the Governor's Innovation Task Force.Keela joined WWT in the Big Data and Management Consulting practice where she focused on technology-driven business transformation and saw the team grow from <15 to 275+. Her time at WWT gave her deep exposure across all IT disciplines, emerging technologies, and new industries including big pharma, retail, and global financials. Keela led the creation of WWT's Mergers & Acquisitions practice and pivotal services programs exceeding $100M in revenue over 2 years.Due to Keela's exposure to emerging technologies and direct experience with the top industries embracing transformative tech, she was able to closely monitor the trends and identify the time was right to enter the market. Keela partnered with Kyle Pott to launch Decise with the support of DKG, located in Chicago, IL. Decise is focused on restaurant technology, digital marketing & blockchain compliance - push the limits and explore new frontiers.
