Joining the small TAXI Calgary team in 2007 was another incredibleexperience, and an opportunity for me to focus on becoming a quintessential studio ambassador for our company’s burgeoning network in North America.At the Calgary office I was not only given the chance to improve my skills as a Mac Artist, but I was also given the chance to stand alongside.

I may not have had the most glamorous of jobs when I started at TAXI as a Studio Administrator, but this first position I held definitely helped me understand what it meant to work in the TAXI studio (even if I was mostly opening dockets, ordering supplies and handling award show requests).I was promoted to Mac Artist in one year’s time and immediately.

At the conclusion of my short internship I was offered a contract for the role of Production Assistant, but it soon became apparent that I was needed more to fulfill the duties of a junior Mac Artist.During my year at Y&R, the ever-changing details of my job description made me as busy as the agency itself: I found myself archiving and filing completed.
