I am passionate about empowering young people through mentorship and entrepreneurship skills, dedicating my efforts at I Am More Academy and our new initiative, The Peoples Centre of Excellence CIC. Co-founded with Alex James, who leads Bereavement UK and Human Aspects training, this collaboration addresses the complex needs of young people and their supporters.With nearly a decade of experience in the charitable sector, including co-founding The Last Kiss Foundation, I have witnessed first-hand how prioritising mental health and resilience creates lasting change. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that sometimes the greatest strength lies in our vulnerability. By sharing our stories and struggles, we create a safe space for others to open up, paving the way for genuine growth, connection, and healing.My journey has taken me from pitching to Steven Bartlett to speaking on local and international stages, including an appearance on a TV in New York City. These experiences fuel my commitment to breaking the cycle of adversity and empowering others.Statistics reveal a critical story: from 2021 to 2023, school exclusions rose by 69%, and suspensions increased by 73%, with 57% attributed to persistent disruptive behaviour. This underscores the need to shift our focus from “persistent disruptive behaviour” to “persistent disruptive need” to unlock a child's potential.At I Am More, we've worked with thousands of students, providing trauma-informed programs that build essential life skills alongside mentorship and entrepreneurial training. Our holistic approach integrates mental health resources, enhancing emotional well-being and resilience for participants.
