Graduate Project Officer- Industry Development

To contribute to the development and support of a range of initiatives and programs that build the capacity of organisations and people, resulting in increased participation in sport and recreation by Western Australians. Working across three teams I was involved in the following tasks.1. People Development: Assist with development and management of coaches, officials, and volunteers in state sporting associations, peak bodies and clubs through coordination of professional development courses and workshops. - Coordination, project management, and delivery of Career Pathway Program for emerging professionals and students in the industry (including budget forecasting and management with external contractors).- Event Coordinator for Volunteer Recognition Breakfast; Coaches and Officials Breakfast (planning, promotion, delivery, evaluation)- Coordination of registration of recognised training agencies for Western Australia- Produce, edit and distribute sport and recreation industry newsletter2. High Performance- Logistics coordination and project management assistance of the Developing Champions life skills education program (in partnership with Western Australian Institute of Sport) for sub elite athletes, program assistance for high performance leader network forums. 3. Organisational Development: Assist with the development of structured and community based sport and recreation organisations including associations, clubs, and community groups through policy development, governance review, constitution evaluation, strategic risk management, research, consultancy, reporting, and project work.- Coordinate, plan, promote, deliver and evaluate industry events and courses (Member Protection Information Officer course, Club Development Officer conference)- Assist executive staff with assessment and collation of applications for annual state sporting association annual grants scheme.- Assist with database management and evaluation of data
