• Develop and deliver programs and procedures for new large-scale multi well completions pads as well as well interventions in the Montney formation located in northeast BC. Coordinate and schedule several different.
• Worked in development group as engineer for new multi well completions pads delivering 13 wells on schedule and at $8M total under budget.
• Successfully developed and delivered procedure for retrieving used coil tubing velocity string from wellbore while retrieving lost work string trapped within velocity string with zero HSE issues.
• Programed and managed new coil tubing velocity string install campaign for 2015 with 4 successful installs
• Developed and delivered first ever reinstall procedure of used coil tubing velocity string resulting in savings of $200k per well.
• Optimized production tubing inspection protocols resulting in savings of $50k per development pad

• Learn basics of completions engineering while working of 4-month project focused on pre frac wellbore integrity pressure test.
• Developed high-pressure casing test for all wells in Groundbirch to prove well integrity prior to fracing operations. New design has become standard for all wells in Groundbirch asset and a key step to insure wellbore.
• Performed cost analyses on new 25m frac spacing trial and made recommendation in trial evaluation. Results of finding have helped reduce frac spacing from 100m to 56m in an effort to optimize production.
• Investigated new friction reducer trial to evaluate cost savings during completions operations resulting in the discontinuation of friction reducer being used during frac operations. Reducing the amounts of chemicals.

• Learn basics of Static equipment during first 2 months of internship and deliver assigned project before switching to fire heating equipment team to diversify understanding of the different components of the Scotford.
• Identification of critical joints and gathering detailed information for process heat exchangers for all units at the Scotford refinery and upgrader.
• Developed data base of all components of all heat exchangers at Scotford refinery and upgrader
• Developed flue gas extraction probe design and fabrication overview as well as lead contact with manufacturer. New design increased effectiveness of flue gas testing to better fire heating furnace performance.
• Performed snuffing steam capacity analysis for atmospheric and vacuum fired heaters to insure capacities are up to code.
• Atmospheric and vacuum fired heater combustion analysis (CO, CO2 and excess O2) comparing field data vs. DCS data
