- Drive and coordinate NP’s international engagement and collaborative efforts with different territories to support its strategic objectives and Singapore’s foreign policy imperatives in areas such as: Student and Staff Development, Institutional Relations and Strategic Engagement.- Develop cultivation engagement plans and priorities with institutional partners overseas.- Review and recommend NP’s international engagement approaches.- Work closely with key stakeholders including government agencies to identify strategic priorities for achieving desired internationalisation and foreign diplomacy outcomes.

- Academic quality management of a cluster of more than 20 academic modules.- Manage curriculum review and curriculum development processes. - Supervise teaching quality review processes, development and accreditation of new modules.- Monitor and enforce academic processes stipulated by the School,- Assist with the preparation and release of the School’s report- Source for and secure industry sponsorship of book prizes for the modules.- Facilitate training for staff in the areas of teaching and learning methodologies.

- Oversee collaborations with external partners such as the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Education and other government and non-government organisations to provide relevant and impactful citizenship education programmes for students.- Incorporate these partnerships and programmes into the relevant curriculum areas.- Build networks and strengthen staff expertise in the area of citizenship education- Plan and coordinate delivery of key citizenship education events and programmes at the institution-level.

Overall in-charge of the 'World Issues: A Singapore Perspective (WISP)' module. The WISP module is a prescribed third year Interdisciplinary Studies module taken by about 2,200 students each semester supported by a teaching team of about 30 Lecturers. It is the primary academic curriculum platform for the delivery of citizenship education at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.Responsible for the following:- Assess performance and build the capabilities of the teaching team (both full-time staff and adjuncts) through regular teaching observations and coaching, and conducting staff development training sessions where new teaching methods or content are introduced. - Maintain teaching team cohesiveness through regular communication sessions and ensuring consistencies in student interfaces and administration.- Strategic planning for module improvement - setting the direction in terms of content and resources.- Curriculum development and continuous improvement in module design, introduction of teaching and learning resources and delivery methods. Constantly search and write case studies on global issues, introduce databases and the use of social media and online tools for enhanced student engagement.- Work with industry partners and other schools to market and build equity in WISP and maintain consistent high standards and quality of the module. Successfully collaborated with the School of Humanities to provide the Dialogue in the Dark museum tour as a standard experiential learning platform for all students taking the module.

- Market Continuing Education and Training (CET) services offered by the school. - Work with staff to create opportunities to market the school’s life skills expertise.- Lead in promoting professional interaction & staff development through the Expertise Centre- Work internally with the CET Academy and Consultancy Unit to promote NP's effort in offering adult education and training, and championing lifelong learning.- Prepare proposals for industry training opportunities.

- Student development and talent management. - Created and established a developmental program to maximize the potential of top performing students and scholars within the campus.- Coached and mentored identified top students and scholars as they prepare for prestigious scholarship applications.- Designed and implemented programmes that successfully produced the first ever Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholar from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.- Mentored 2 students who became the first ever Polytechnic students nation-wide to gain entry into the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS).- This programme at that time also produced 3 NUS scholars, 1 Singapore Management University scholar and 1 Ministry of Education scholarship recipient.
