Keeran graduated from Dundee Dental School in 2016. He then took a role in the Public Dental Service working for NHS Grampian gaining valuable experience in domiciliary visits, sedation clinics and GA clinics performing procedures under the supervision of the clinical lead. His time working in the Public Dental Service was well spent as he got an insight into how the Public Dental Service and community dentistry operates before deciding whether to apply for dental core training posts after the mandatory training following university. He then decided to work in General Practice to build his relationship with his patients helping them achieve their oral health goals. Keeran has worked all over Scotland and enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry mainly focusing on white dental composite fillings, root canal treatments, crown/bridge-work. He regularly works alongside the clinical director at the BIC with complex implant placement and restoration. Keeran has attended many postgraduate courses and has CPD certificates in CEREC Crowns in a day and Precision Dentistry. In his spare time Keeran enjoys playing cricket and has a passion for cooking developed during his time working in Indian kitchens.
