The EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) is the primary voice for European Business within the ASEAN region. The overarching objective of the EU-ABC is to promote changes in policies, rules and regulations so that European businesses can more easily invest and develop their businesses in ASEAN, benefiting not only their own shareholders but local economies and populations as well.The key responsibilities of the Supervisory Board are to: receive reports from the Chairman and Executive Board on the activities of the Business Council; offer strategic direction and guidance on future plans; provide a platform for discussion and sharing of information; advise the Executive Board on the formation and work of regional working groups; and, approve by qualified majority vote any substantive changes to the Business Council’s balance sheet.

The Asia Travel and Technology Industry Association (ATTIA) represents companies operating in the travel and tourism sector in Asia-Pacific, with technology and innovation at their core. Our members include Agoda, Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia Group, Amadeus and TravelportATTIA seeks to promote a deeper understanding of the policy issues that stand at the intersection of travel and technology. ATTIA serves as a resource and a catalyst for closer collaboration and information-sharing for the development of aligned industry/government priorities and vision for travel and tourism in Asia-Pacific.

Public Policy and Government Affairs

Managing public affairs strategies, including legislative and regulatory issues, for a range of clients in the financial services and energy sector both in Europe and Asia

Main responsibilities: assisting the Public Affairs department in monitoring and analyzing forthcoming EU regulation in the banking and insurance sector.

Responsible for the implementation of the European Directive on Services in the Internal Market (Bolkestein Directive) at local government-level. (project-based work)
