In 2008 the idea came up to start the project ‘Cook Daniel’. After years of producing work for others, ‘Cook’ now uses his creativity and experience to compose and produce his own original music. For these productions Cook Daniel works with professional top musicians of the Dutch music scene. Musicians that he worked with in the past and many others that he plans to work with in the future.Cook Daniel-music is pure relaxing: not too complicated, easy to listen and very relaxing. One can call it lounge or dance, chill music or easy listening.! Bottom line: it is always feelgood music, based on quality and intensity, effortlessly resulting in jazzy, groovy tracks, based on global grooves and sounds. A number of tracks have been produced cinematically. Cook Daniel introduces in the months August and September 2023, 5 brand new compositions. In this series he dives deeper, into a more relaxing mood and atmosphere, underlined with his signature grooves. Wellness Relaxing & SPA Music. The first title is 'Welcome to my dream'.

In 2022, Cornel Jacobs Cook embarked on composing and releasing epic, classically inspired, and cinematically produced soundtracks, including titles such as "Symphonic Breeze," "On The Run," "Sisters," "The Chaser," and "Legal Ground." This endeavor culminated in 2024 with Cook being commissioned by @MCOfilm to write 23 soundtracks across 26 scenes for the most absurd Dutch comedy ever, "YAMAS! the Movie," directed by Rik Sinkeldam and Andy van Veen.
