Kees Sol (* 1953) is married with Dineke. They have 4 kids; Jeroen (30), Marleen (28), Karlien (26) and Lidwien (23). Kees is responsible for the financial, economic, architectural, staff and facility aspects of the eye hospital.Together with Marion Heres (colleague member of the board ) he develops the strategic position of the hospital. Much attention is, among other things, given on management-innovation; the relation quality and costs, benchmarking, network development, cost development, patient flows (clinical pathways), logistical concepts. All these activities are done in cooperation with (international) the best practices and with several scientific institutes (e.g. Erasmus MC Rotterdam, Catholic University Leuven, Academic MC Amsterdam).Kees is board member of the European Assn. of Eye Hospitals and Chairman of the World Assn. of Eye Hospitals.
