In aviation since 1985. Grand total flying hours 19300 hrs. Experience as flight engineer on Boeing 727 (1600 hrs); co-pilot position on Boeing 757 (900 hrs), Boeing 747-300 (2500 hrs); commanders position on Fokker F-27 (1000 hrs), Boeing 737 PG/NG (6000+ hrs), Airbus A330 (2400 hrs), McDonnell Douglas MD-11 (1500 hrs) and Boeing 777/787 (3000+ hrs). Finished my professional flying career on the 737NG as commander, taking my pension at present.I shifted my focus to becoming a train driver on our national railway, the Nederlandse Spoorwegen. I finished my training for both commuter-, intercity- and highspeed (HSL) trains.I am also expanding my horizon with more creative goals, like photography and the musical industry. Followed a course for sound engineering at Soundeducation College in Utrecht. Writing/recording my own music and recently set up a 'writers hut' for musicians, utilizing state of the art equipment and the possibility to work, eat and sleep locally in the same building, amongst 3500 acres of Hollands finest nature.
