CurrentKees Brandenburg is using photographic printing techniques, from the 19th century, in a contemporary way. Techniques used are: carbon printing, photopolymer, monochrome and tri-color casein (zerochrome), gumprinting, salt- and albumenprinting, oil- and bromoil printing, cyanotype and kallitype. Specialized in digital negatives for contact printing. Skills in photoconservation, architecture and panoramaphotograpy.Photography and internet cross-over projects.Kees Brandenburg collaborated with photographer Erwin Olaf. Starting in 2011 Erwin Olaf visited the studio in Middelburg for over 12 years where he and Kees Brandenburg worked on many series of carbon transfer prints for exhibitions. Apart from this collaboration many other photographersand artists found their way to Middelburg.
