Er Chong Kee Sen is a Director of Engineers 9000 Pte Ltd., a Civil and structural consulting engineering company. He has more than 20 years experience as a consulting Engineer. In his professional work, he has executed various infra-structural projects for the Petrol-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Power, Marine and other industries. He is also involved in various land reclamation and soil improvement projects.Er. Chong graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 1987 with an honours bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore and is now an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE). Er. Chong was appointed a PE Board member in 2012.Er Chong is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) since 1992 and is now a FELLOW of IES. He is an active IES member and had served close to 10 years in the IES Council and is now the Deputy President. Er Chong also chairs the IES-ACES-BCA Joint Accreditation Committee for the registration of Qualified Site Supervisors. Er. Chong sits in various agencies’ committees He has been involved in the drafting of SPRING's Singapore Standards. He is presently chairing the SPRING’s work group in the drafting of the Singapore Standards on Pollution Control.Er Chong is the present President of the NTU Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association (NCEEA). He was appointed as an Advisory Committee Member for the NTU Beng (Civil) program in 2011. Er Chong was awarded the Nanyang Alumni Services Award in 2008.
