I work on national, European and international projects on agriculture, climate change and the environment.

Leading on climate change and the agricultural agenda at Nourish Scotland, we look at making the invisible visible throughout the food chain. Underlining the links between food production and those who eat it for a sustainable, ethical, carbon neutral system.

I provide presentations based on the resources provided by Al Gore's Climate Reality organisation.

I have managed the renovation of a derelict farmhouse, meeting high levels of energy efficiency. The project continues as we develop the outbuildings into accommodation for those looking for somewhere to learn, rest and revive in a beautiful part of Scotland.

Primary contact and resource for climate change issues in the Environment Agency's Anglian Region. This included producing an internal and external strategy for the region when the Environment Agency wanted to be the primary climate change agency in England. I needed to coordinate campaigns to inform our staff and stakeholders about the risks and opportunities of climate change and ensure the issues were being included in local and regional plans in both the public and private sectors. I also coordinated plans and strategies with the national climate change team.

My work at AEA concentrated on bidding for, editing and contributing to research papers for the European Commission, DEFRA and DFID. In the short time I worked there I travelled to China and Brussels to assist and present our findings on separate projects.

Primary contact for the NFU England and Wales, NFU Scotland and Ulster Farmers' Union with the European Parliament. Also responsible for all environmental issues relating to agriculture, cereals issues and rural development.
