I hold a Master's degree in Tax Law and have been working within the Dutch Tax Management Consulting ('TMC') practice since a couple of years. Within this group I am active in assisting clients in ERP (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.) Transformations, building Tax Control Frameworks, negotiations around Horizontal Monitoring (Horizontaal Toezicht) and Business Model Optimization. Using technology like Tax Engines, from native applications such as Oracle E-Business Tax to Bolt-on's (Sabrix, Vertex, Taxware), Compliance Tools and Tax Data Analytics we are enabling Clients to take Control over their Indirect Tax positions and associated Risk profiles. Key objective of this all is to realize efficiency within the (Indirect) Tax function and aligning Corporate, IT and Tax strategy through getting the Business Processes in agreement with the Business Model/Strategy.I have been involved in several Global implementations covering the full lifecycle of a project from Requirement Gathering, Gap Analysis, Design, Configuration, Training, Testing through Deployment.During these projects I have developed solid Project Management Skills as well as a good understanding of all the Business Processes relevant for (Indirect) Tax.Specialties: * Oracle E-Business Tax Subject Matter Expert * Tax Control Frameworks* Business Model Optimizations
