Conducted research on Adult Human Neural Progenitor Cells (AHNP) in culture. Using polymolecular botanical compounds, we researched cell fates of AHNPs under dopamine stressed and diseased conditions with the application of different plant compounds in the hopes of developing a pharmaceutical that could halt or reverse the progression of neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. We also looked at cell fates under the aforementioned conditions to see if there was a way to program cells to differentiate in a preferred way.
