This is achieved by following defined and agreed practices forrecruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination;• Manage the application maintenance, application support, IT infrastructure, businessanalytics and digital development teams aimed at standardization and centralization;• Report regularly to both the European board of directors and to Yamaha Motor’s CIO in Japan(once a year in person).Key achievements:==> Implemented Yamaha’s digital transformation strategy that renews the consumer websites (with Adobe), introduces a headless eCommerce platform and implements a European CRM solution (with SalesForce) for YME, group companies, dealers and consumers; ==> Re-organized Yamaha’s IS operation to achieve a centrally managed IS operation with limited local presence and with limited local responsibility, amongst others by implementing a centrally managed and standard IT infrastructure environment with a strong focus on embedding cyber security and by centralizing local ERP and B2B applications of YME’s group companies located in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and UK;==> Implemented a new warehouse management system for the European parts and accessory warehouses in the Netherlands and France.

Key responsibilities a.o.- Manage the Yamaha SAP S/4HANA program for the European Region;- Develop strategy for optimizing the use of SAP S/4HANA;- Manage external supplier relationships for the program- Manage the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA- Advise on the selection of technology purchases

Key responsibilities:• Manage the application maintenance, application support and IT infrastructure teams (approximately 16 FTEs);• Ensure availability and quality of all Yamaha’s business applications and IT infrastructure and provide Yamaha staff good first, second and third line support;• Participate in defining Yamaha’s overall European IT strategy (aimed at increased centralization and standardization within Europe) and the realisation thereof.Key achievements:==> Refactored Yamaha’s B2B application in-house and re-implemented it successfully, after terminating a failed attempt to outsource the refactoring to Yamaha’s IT subsidiary in India;==> Rationalized and scaled-down the European IS operation for cost savings purposes following the Global Financial Crisis that almost halved YME’s turnover;==> Implemented IFRS depreciation functionality using the global net realisable value, implemented SEPA banking interfaces and separated the Slovakia and Czech branches froman application perspective.

Key responsibilties:• Manage projects at hand i.e. lead the project team consisting of Yamaha employees and external consultants, keep all stakeholders informed and aligned and monitor elapse time, budget and quality;• Manage the development and support team (approximately 8 FTE), dealing with all issues that are inherent to a multi-site and international environment with centralised support; • Manage the application portfolio and provide in-depth functional support for finance, sales, purchase, logistics and warranty.Key achievements:==> Implemented YMPACT at several Yamaha group companies (Austria, Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands) and re-implemented YMPACT in Scandinavia as a consequence of the merger of the Swedish, Norwegian and Danish group companies. Specifically, this included in-depth discussions concerning financial and VAT reporting, consolidation and statutory reporting. The majority of activities has been executed on-site;==> Managed the central inventory management project to consolidate Yamaha’s unit inventory on four locations in Europe that required radical changes to both business procedures (removing local inventory) and supporting IT applications; ==> Supported YMPACT implementations at several Yamaha group companies in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and UK (mostly on-site), specifically in the sales, logistics and warranty domains.

* Re-designed business processes for a contractor specialised in road and hydraulic constructions, landscape gardening and recycling, for a transportation and trading company and a shower manufacturer;* Implemented SAP R/2 modules (RM-PM, RK-P) at the electricity company EDON (now Essent), supporting their maintenance processes;* Supported the ERP package selection process for Yamaha (now YMPACT), specified the necessary modifications to the package, guided the development thereof and subsequently assisted the ERP implementation preparation for Yamaha distributors in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and UK.
