MEET KEITH ► Payments expert with specialist expertise in Business Analysis and Product Management. As MD of DebaPay I’m best known for creation of the DebaPay cloud service, designed to help businesses simplify how they automate the collection of their income using SEPA direct debit. I’ve been in the payments industry for over 20 years, I enjoy delivering online technology solutions that deliver real customer value and I take a continuous learning approach to maintaining my level of knowledge in key areas such as the payments industry and product development. Over the years I have gained expert knowledge of SWIFT Financial Messaging & Services, SEPA Credit Transfer & SEPA Direct Debit along with international payments and domestic payment schemes. I have a keen focus on PSD2 Regulation and the challenges & opportunities Open Banking is presenting the retail banking sector and the wider payments industry. I’m highly motivated in relation to how technology can deliver digital transformation for businesses to help them gain tangible benefits and achieve measurable returns from such change. I have worked on large and smaller projects from concept stage through process design and system development to delivery and customer follow-up when the service and/or product is live. I have completed training in Corporate Governance with the Corporate Governance Institute in Ireland and obtained a Diploma in Corporate Governance from Glasgow Caledonian University. My goal is to use my knowledge and experience gained over the last 20 years to help other organisations in regards to governance and strategic decision-making.
