Assigned to the Enterprise Architecture | Emerging Solutions & Technologies group specializing in the research, development, and implementation of emerging technologies. Recent work has been focused on process automation technologies, specifically the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) initiatives across the enterprise. Co-authored the design and implementation of an operations model standardizing RPA development, best practices, and support across the organization. Positioned as a subject matter expert (SME) applying my technical expertise and business skills to design, develop, and implement solutions for difficult business problems. Research emerging technologies that promote innovative and divergent thinking and align the technology within a business line or functional operation as it pertains to corporate strategic objectives.

Engaged with clients to identify and define integration plans for leveraging a SAP BusinessObjects BI solution into their existing SAP ERP / NetWeaver ecosystem; adding/implementing an SAP BusinessObjects BI solution into a non-SAP ERP environment; or provide services in developing and/or implementing a blueprint/roadmap of an overall business intelligence strategy for their organization.

Managed the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics strategic initiatives for Hughes Network Systems supporting proactive corporate strategic planning and performance goals. Supervised the planning, implementation, and support of the corporate BI landscape, including, software/application solutions, reporting, and infrastructure.

Continued my position under the WorldCom TELCO Operations group after IT was transitioned from MCI WorldCom to EDS in February of 2000. Managed a staff of 16 developers and DBA’s working in an Oracle/UNIX environment on several high profile development projects.

Managed a staff of nine individuals in the development, testing, and maintenance of revenue reporting systems supporting the Finance Information Management Group for MCI. Responsibilities included the development and management of project plans, estimating the level of effort to complete required tasks, and overseeing development schedules of multiple projects.

Performed quality assurance testing on software applications developed by the Finance Information Management Group. Established testing procedures and testing protocols for the structured migration of code from development to testing and then production environments. Proposed, designed, and implemented the use of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) bug and error tracking databases for independent testing and verification by the UAT group. Investigated and vetted all UAT reported issues prioritizing them into critical and non-critical re-development tasks for the software team.

Managed a staff of 15 junior and senior analysts performing requirements analysis and software testing/quality assurance, and independent verification and validation (IV&V) on a $10+ Million project with the U.S. Department of Education
