Tasks and Responsibilities Selects and introduces Customer Premises Equipment (CPE: Switches, Routers, NTU’s, IP Phones, Wi-Fi Access points, Security servers) in Eircom Business Solutions by: o Business case evaluation & vendor product selection o Negotiation of reseller agreements with vendors on behalf of Eircom o Deliver training and competence lift for engineering units in the new equipment. o Technical and business process positioning of CPE into the Mobile NG Voice and Data solutions Use cases during development. o Negotiate pilot and initial service trials with customers. o Define customer journeys, Business processes and service ordering forms in retail and on-line sales channels. o Low Level Design of service & connectivity descriptions for CPE in product solutions. o Leads the delivery of product solutions in engineering development and support teams, Sales, Go To Market specialists, Systems, Readiness and BAT test. o Incubate new products after initial launch, until ‘in-life’ robustness is achieved.Achievements• Adapted existing Eircom ITIL and ISO 20000 processes to handle the CPE Introductions • Put products in the Eircom Business Portfolio i.e. IPPBX, Routers, Gateways, IP-phones, Wi- Fi Access Points.
