Supports small businesses through all stages of a grant cycle: government registrations, pre-award support specializing in budget compliance with federal cost principles and agency guidelines, preparing and submitting due diligence documentation at award negotiation stage, post award compliance and support (e.g. submitting project & financial reports, drawing down funds/submitting invoices, submitting no-cost extensions, budget revisions, and other prior approval requests), and drafting policy documents in compliance to Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).

-Supports tech startup executives in completing government registrations required for SBIR (Small Business Research Innovation) and STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) federal grant submissions.-Prepares administrative sponsor forms, budgets ranging from $100,000 to $20 million, and budget justifications for grant proposals submitted to federal agencies such as National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, and Department of Defense.-Writes blog posts about awarded projects to clients covering a broad range of technologies including medical diagnostics, therapeutics, food ingredient platforms, novel materials, digital health tools, cloud software, and life science tools (see links below for writing samples).

-Interpreted grant proposal guidelines and sponsor policies for faculty applying for sponsored research primarily in the STEM fields, but also across the arts and social sciences.-Formulated budgets for grant proposals ranging from $25,000 to $6 million, ensuring budgets complied with sponsoring agency requirements and university policies.-Reviewed and submitted ~450 grant proposals on behalf of faculty to external sponsors and secured funding such as a $5.2 million National Science Foundation award in 2017 (see below a news article).-Oversaw the annual, internal CUNY mini-grant submissions. Trained, coached and distributed work to staff members. Notified faculty about the funding opportunity. Increased submissions to 120 applications in 2017, a 50% increase from the previous year.

-Recruited and screened candidates for engineer positions for the company of ~30 engineers.-Provided administrative support for the CEO, the Director of Operations and managers.-Coordinated monthly lunch and learn meetings for staff.

-Assisted a class of 30 children, ages 2-4 years, and created activities and lesson plans to support their emotional, social, physical and academic development.-Acquired certification for Early Childhood Montessori Teaching.
