Forth-year Textile Technology Management PhD candidate with several years of experience in the apparel and retail industries. My focus is Consumer Behavior, specializing in race, anti-racism, and inequality as it relates to oppressed identities purchasing behaviors.My current research interest lies at the intersection of race and consumerism. I examine the lived experiences of marginalized identities and how sociocultural factors impact their consumer behaviors. In addition, I examine DEI efforts and brand strategies to support businesses in creating inclusive, culturally competent communications.
