Founder and host of Secret Ninja School. We create 5-10-minute adventure/workouts for 3-7yo children. The episodes are story-based to engage children for 5-10-minutes at a time. The children follow-along the story, trying 'ninja-moves' on the journey. Like any good fantasy story, there is a magic system. These are governed by magic rules that the children learn along the way. To use the magic, they have to use fundamental movement skills allowing lots of opportunity to repeat movements critical to their development. They build confidence and competence in movement using the program. More than 200-schools use the program for movement breaks in Australia.I have been a coach of young children in sports like Auskick, taekwondo, cricket and gymnastics for the last 11-years. As a former cricket and taekwondo athlete, I have a deep love for movement that will last me a lifetime. I built these connections as a young child thanks to positive role models.77% of 5-14yo Australians don't get enough exercise every day. Movement is becoming less of a priority in modern households, posing a long and silent risk to children's health and wellbeing. Secret Ninja School is working hard to provide a program that children want to do as much as they want to play video games, that gives them the confidence, competence and desire to make sport a part of their daily lives.
