Chairman of the Canberra Branch Committee of the Royal Aeronautical Society. The RAeS is the world's oldest and pre-eminent society of the aeronautical fields. The Canberra Branch runs an interesting and relevant program of professional development and networking within the Canberra aeronautical community.

Founded and became inaugural President of Australian Army's most contemporary motor sport team and STEM recruiting outreach effort.

2002-5: Army Helicopters :5th Aviation Regiment, Blackhawk, support to training, East Timor and Special Operations including Rugby World Cup.Aviation Support Group Workshop, Blackhawk and Iroquois, supporting training of the School of Army Aviation and Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintenance School.2006-Current: Army Unmanned Aerial Systems:20th Surveillance and Target Acquisition Regiment, Skylark, Scaneagle and Shadow 200 UAS, Weapon Locating Radar, and Ground Surveillance Radar, supporting training and operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.Defence Materiel Organisation, Shadow 200 UAS, acquiring and introducing into service as the Logistics Engineer and then the Project Manager.Army Headquarters, capability management officer for UAS, aviation logistics and aviation fuel trucks.2014 - Awarded Chief of Army Scholarship to continue PhD research.2015 - Australian Command and Staff College, Studying a Masters of Defence and Strategic Studies, graduating with Distinction. 2016 - Military Assistant to Head Modernisation and Strategic Planning (now known as Head Land Capability): Appointed to the office of a 2-Star General, primarily concerned with military G5/8 staff duties. Modernisation and Strategic Planning – Army (MSP-A) Division focuses on Army’s force development and strategic planning. It is responsible for Army’s future concepts and capability needs, capability project management, and Reserves.

Of the three man editorial team for this book project, I was the one who was in uniform. The book is a history of RAEME told through the words and images of those men and women who experienced the events that made their Corps.As the uniformed editor I was the liaison into the Army, conducting research, sourcing stories and images, gaining permissions and approvals, and spreading the word among the serving fraternity of RAEME.The book was launched at the Australian War Memorial on 09 Sep 15 by the Chief of the Army.
