  • Sets up and maintains data into the ERP systems); prepares and publishes reports; monitors performance.• Negotiates price, delivery, terms and conditions with suppliers.• Purchases material and services (including CapEx and MRO) at the right quantity, quality, schedule, and source in a cost effective, accurate, and timely manner; clearly communicating the needs to our suppliers; in compliance with transportation routing guidelines.• Purchases material and services based on requisitions, materials requirement planning (MRP) and stocking levels in compliance with engineering, quality, business, and regulatory requirements.• Creates supplier RFQs; reviews requirements for reasonableness, identifies sources, recommends procurement strategy, develops terms and conditions.• Reviews purchase requisitions for completeness; evaluates information regarding source of supply, price, quality, availability, terms and conditions, and related requirements.• Monitors and maintains supplier contracts and purchase orders including evaluation and implementation of changes; expedites delivery; reconciles discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders; arbitrates disputes between end users and suppliers including disposition of nonconforming material.• Maintains contact with suppliers; evaluates and updates approved supplier list; identifies "preferred suppliers," obtains samples and literature regarding potential products and capabilities and confers with end users; monitors supplier performance: initiates supplier corrective action; reduces supplier base through consolidation.• Ensures that risks related to services and supplies are identified, communicated and controlled.• Manages dates in ERP system to ensure accuracy of delivery commits in support of production scheduling. • Identifies and implements opportunities for cost reduction working closely with Management.• Review slow moving and obsolete inventory and disposition appropriately.
