• Work within NRG's internal Customer Management Systems.• Process daily operational tasks related to the sending and receiving of transactions between NRG and vendors/utilities.• Employ various reports including, but not limited to pricing using queries to determine accuracy within the billing/invoicing process.• Resolve transaction and/or billing exceptions within established SLAs.• Credit/change pricing rates on accounts.• Translate reports into formats, such as Excel, as required for analysis.• Apply analytical & technical skills to provide solutions to accounts within the Texas market for commodity/non commodity customers.• Knowledgeable of the Texas Set Transactions/PJM Utility Rules.• Research and gather data to create user stories.• Identify issues using reporting methods to maintain compliance with internal & external SLA's around transaction and billing accuracies and timeliness.• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to strategically employ resolutions for external customers. {I love communicating, it keeps everything running smoothly}• Use root-cause analysis to identify solutions to exceptions, errors, and process gaps.• Utilize software, analytical tools, and conceptual retail energy market knowledge to research and analyze complex business issues.• Create detailed process documentation, as well as make previous documentation improvements. {I'm a very detailed person and love it}• Contribute to the execution and implementation of new business and/or regulatory requirements.• Develop and implement new process improvements & tools to streamline workflow. {I believe in working smarter and not harder}• Provide training as needed for internal and interdepartmental personnel. • Formulate SOX Audits to achieve reporting results.• Performed User Acceptance Testing on new processes to be implemented. • Perform other duties as assigned.
