"Change comes at the intersection of inspiration and outrage" is one of my favorite quotes. To me, it means that in order to make things happen you need to have a vision for what could be and a passion to get it done. I like to think of myself as someone who gets things done.I'm an experienced product manager whose core skills are understanding key customer needs, distilling them into actionable insights, and building high functioning teams to help solve them. I’m able to effectively “reach across” to other functional departments to co-create meaningful solutions that have real impact for both the customer and the business. I have experience at multiple stages of product development, including launch, maintenance, and sunset.As a practitioner, I'm a believer in deeply understanding my users, letting their needs help guide product strategy, and using my team’s collective wisdom to drive innovation. I believe that good, clean data can enrich product discovery and will ultimately make or break the thing you deliver. I enjoy looking at the big picture and figuring out how all the parts can fit together to create an even better product for both customers and the business because after all, the work is never done!Outside of work I am a public education junky, a softy for community service, a lover of sports, and a fierce competitor. I enjoy teaching Product Management fundamentals to new and aspiring PMs and am always up for the opportunity to talk shop. At the end of the day, I believe that laughter heals most things, and what it can't heal, a homemade chocolate chip cookie will! Let's get after it.
