Having started his career in 1996 as a VFX artist and gaining experience working with top production houses on various commercials, Keitan forayed into the Film VFX world in 2003 as a VFX Supervisor & VFX Producer, with Shah Rukh Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment's maiden venture ‘Main Hoon Na.’The journey continued as he co-founded ‘Redchillies.VFX in 2006, with the vision to grow & develop international-class VFX in India. In the following years, under his guidance, Redchillies.vfx scaled from a workforce of 40 to 500+, quickly becoming one of the pioneering VFX studios in the country. He helped successfully deliver major VFX Xilms like Ra.One, Krrish 3, Fan, Zero, etc., set new industry benchmarks.For his exemplary work, he was honoured with the National Award in 2011 for Outstanding Visual Effects in the Film Ra.One. Other awards include 4 Filmfares, 5 IIFA and several other prestigious awards.Furthermore, Keitan has also been a co-chairperson of the prestigious Visual Effects Society (VES), India; a section of a global community of Visual Effects practitioners with its headquarters in Los Angeles, US.Recently, Keitan has also been appointed as the Industry Partner for the AVGC Taskforce, formed by the Government of India, to enhance the global positioning of the Indian AVGC industry.As the Chief Operations OfXicer, Keitan currently overlooks the entire post-production pipeline, which includes Redchillies.vfx, Redchillies.color and the Motion Control division of Red chillies. His hands-on experience throughout a span of 26 Years amidst varying media Fields, has granted him the needed expertise in leadership, management and vision to steer the Indian VFX industry in the right direction.
