Hello! I'm Keith Woods, a seasoned Renewals Professional with a 15-year track record in Service and SaaS contract renewal management. My career kicked off in 1999 at NCR, where I got my first taste of customer relations and billing management. In 2006, I transitioned to Teradata, where I discovered my passion for data-driven storytelling and sharpened my project management skills.The year 2009 marked a pivotal moment as I stepped into the role of Service Contract Manager, immersing myself in the world of renewal management. Over the next nine years, I flourished in this position, navigating Teradata's shift to subscription-based licensing.2018 brought a move to San Diego, where I took the helm of the Americas Renewals team before expanding my reach to build a Global renewals team. By 2020, I was leading Renewals Operations initiatives and establishing a Global Renewals Support Center.In 2021, I returned to the field as a Renewal Account Manager, putting into practice the improvements I'd helped develop. A leadership role in Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations followed in 2022, but a company transition in 2023 led to my roleβs elimination and an unexpected career shift.This change sparked what I call my "Renewals sabbatical" - a period of exploration and self-discovery. I ventured into insurance sales and pest control, gaining diverse experiences but realizing these weren't my true calling. A role in Financial Media Operations broadened my skillset but left me missing the customer engagement I thrive on.This sabbatical crystallized my passion for Renewals.
