With a wealth of knowledge in the food sector gained from working at all levels throughout the meat industry, I like to now use that knowledge to push myself further and to give others the very best start they can have when beginning their career. This practical knowledge also allows me to deliver new ideas and systems to the more experienced person within the industry.I take pride in my management role as I realise that the more information, training and knowledge I can share, the better and more confident my staff will become. I've become pretty well known for my overuse of the phrase "You wont learn this in a book" I feel privileged to have worked in many different plants in the UK at varying levels and with each plant, comes new ideas, new techniques and technology....You never stop learning in this trade.I have a passion for field sports and am at my happiest when out in the field with shotgun or rifle. Currently DSC level 1 in deer stalking, I love to combine my knowledge with the 'Field to Fork' theme and am an avid fan and supporter of wild game produce and countryside conservation.Over the past 6 years I have gained experience in management running a busy shooting ground and also became heavily involved in Social Media and Marketing whilst working as part of Team Wild.tv, assisting with the media schedules for many companies including Team Wild.tv, AirArms and Isuzu to name but a few.I learned a few new tricks whilst being part of Team Wild.tv, one of which was acting. Our YouTube channel was built around good, honest reviews of firearms and equipment being used out in the field and helped to build brand confidence by doing so. I'm no Marlon Brando, but with the rest of the team I helped to build the audience of subscribers which now sits at over 280,000.
