Received a promotion to Director of Development and manage a small team of developers in charge of new development and maintenance of existing projects. Am personally responsible for architecture; maintenance; build and buy decisions; and coding and QA standards. Created an HTML5-based WSYIWYG online editor to allow for editing of the books in the Flat World catalog, allowing professors to customize their textbooks to the letter. n Created numerous successful, delivered applications in Python, Ruby, and PHP for this Columbus service company and helped build it into a profitable, successful business. n Developed an application to determine rival company pricing for my client by scraping publically available websites and performing calculations. This led to an adjustment of the client's business practices saving them millions of dollars. n Created full-stack LAMP web apps for senate-level political campaigns.
